Thanks for the post. It's interesting to hear your thought process. Is there a reason why you didn't start with the goal of the improvement?

With any feature I think it's important to start with the understanding of what 'improvement' is and why is this important to the company? (e.g. improvement is an increase in story upload by 2%, which will result in x additional minutes engagement which impacts revenue by Y).

Knowing this will then drive the kind of improvements that you want to make.
