I bet that if you’ve got time to read this story then you definitely have a To-Do List.

Assuming you do have a To-Do List, then you are the kind of person who likes to keep track of the things you need to sort out, however, often that means that the list might at times get a little too long for comfort.

Maybe you don’t look at it regularly enough to chip away at the items on it. Maybe you’re recording absolutely everything just so you can get that warm fuzzy feeling when you tick it off. Either way, a bulging To-Do List can sometimes cause stress and not allow you to see the wood for the trees. Well, all of that can change.

Ask yourself two questions

  1. Do you ever bump into someone at work and have a chat only to remember an hour later that you had something you wanted to ask them but forgot to?
  2. Do you ever find yourself with a spare five minutes between appointments and use it to check Facebook, rather than do something more productive?

If you’ve answered yes to these questions, then the simple solution to these problems is tagging items in your to-do list with the names of people or places where the to-do can be completed.
